The exact time for your hospital arrival will be communicated to you the evening before the surgery.

Dr. Achak’s surgeries are performed at Aria Hospital. Please arrive at the scheduled time to maintain operating room order and prevent cancellation of your appointment.

On the day of surgery, be sure to have a reliable companion with you to receive the medical team’s important instructions during times when you may not be fully alert and need rest.

Identification documents: Bring the original birth certificate and national ID card of the patient for the admission process.

For patients under 18 years old, the presence of a legal guardian with identification documents is mandatory and cannot be substituted, in order to sign the hospital admission forms.

Absolute fasting for 8 hours: Do not eat or drink anything (not even a sip of water) for 8 hours before surgery. Your safety during anesthesia directly depends on this.

If you consume anything for any reason, be sure to inform the admission staff; in such cases, the surgery time will be rescheduled to ensure your safety.

To reduce digestive sensitivities, it is recommended to avoid all dairy products for 48 hours before surgery.

Precise nasal hair trimming: The day before surgery, be sure to shorten the hairs inside your nose using an electric trimmer. (Accumulation of blood discharge in the following days can make breathing difficult.)

Use only an electric trimmer! Do not use tweezers, wax, chemical products, or anything similar, and be careful not to injure the nasal mucosa.

Due to bathing restrictions during the first week after surgery, it is recommended to take a shower a few hours before coming to the hospital.

Blood tests (no fasting required): Immediately after receiving the results, send a clear image of the test to Telegram number 09031323910 for the doctor’s review.

Reminder: Be sure to bring the paper copy of the test results on the day of surgery.

Photography (medical photos): Complete the photos no later than two weeks before surgery. Note that finalizing your surgery appointment depends on the clinic receiving these photos.

Stop taking supplements: Completely discontinue Vitamin E and aspirin tablets one week before surgery.

Prepare a cold compress: Purchase a cold compress from a pharmacy the night before surgery and place it in the freezer. Bring it with you to the hospital on the day of surgery (the hospital pharmacy may not have it available).
